I am a retired electronics engineer with a passion for photography, using film and digital. I started out with film over forty years ago with an Olympus OM1 and transitioned to digital around 2000. I have built up a collection of Nikon digital cameras, starting with a D1 and ending with a Z7. I also have three Fujifilm mirrorless cameras that I like to play with occasionally.
My photographic interests range from macro through flora & fauna, still life, water drops and portraits to landscapes.
The black cat featured in the logo at the top of the page was our family cat. She passed away in 2018, at the age of 18, and is much missed. She was the inspiration for the name of this website.
